It is definitely one of my favourite foods and although it somewhat looks and tastes like gelato, I promise it’s not!

In fact acai berries are an antioxidant rich food which contain Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Potassium, Magnesium, Phosphorus and a little bit of Zinc and Iron too! The acai pulp packs that I buy, which are shown down below, are also sugar free, caffeine free, gluten free and dairy free.
So next time you are unsure what to have for breakfast, as a snack or dessert, do yourself a favor and make yourself an acai creation.

I have an acai bowl once a week, and it definitely brings a little bit of joy, colour and nutrition into my diet!
I would only ever buy or would only ever advise to buy unsweetened acai. This on it’s own will taste bitter and unpalatable, but once it is added into any of my acai recipes it will taste incredibly delicious.
